ACTIVITIES

With your reservation of chalet # 054 or # 058, you will have access to these exclusive facilities free of charge, which also include a picnic area and campfire areas.

  • Note that cottage #054 supplied 10 wristbands and cottage #058,  8 wristbands. Those will allow you to the facilities 

    Children under 12 do not have to wear a bracelet, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Tennis

Enjoy panoramic views of the majestic Lac-Supérieur while playing on one of two clay tennis courts.

  • RESERVATIONS: required on site, every day except Thursdays
  • HOURS: 8:00 to 20:00, 7 days a week
    • Both courts are closed for regular maintenance July 9, July 23, August 6, August 20 and September 3
    • Court 1 is closed from 12:00 to 13:00 each day for maintenance. Court 2 is closed from 13:00 to 14:00 each day for maintenance.
    • Court 1 is available for members of the municipality on Sundays and Mondays from 15:00 to 18:00, and on Thursdays from 9:00 to 12:00
  • MAXIMUM TIME: 45 minutes
  • MAXIMUM PERSONS: 4 per court
  • Appropriate footwear is mandatory (no studs)
  • Equipment loans are not available. Please ensure your tennis balls are clearly marked.
  • Sanitize hands upon entry and exit

 

Nautical Equipment

Reserve a kayak, canoe, paddle board or pedal boat and get out on the lake and see the wildlife up close.

  • RESERVATIONS: not required, first come, first served
  • HOURS: 10:00 to 19:00, 7 days a week
  • MAXIMUM TIME: 45 minutes
  • MAXIMUM PERSONS: 1-4, depending on the available equipment
  • Watercraft must be returned after 45 minutes of use. Life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times.
  • Sanitize equipment before and after use
  • CLOSURE: October 13 or before, depending on the temperature of the water.

 

 

Pool

Cool down in the Club de la Pointe’s salt-water pool; the perfect gathering place for families on a warm summer day.

  • RESERVATIONS: not required, first come, first served
  • HOURS: 11:00 to 17:00, 7 days a week, weather permitting
    • June: 20, 21, 24 to 28
    • July: 4 to 31
    • August: 1 to 23, 29 to 30
    • September: 5, 6 and 7
  • MAXIMUM TIME: 45 minutes
  • MAXIMUM PERSONS: 10 per private swim session
  • While the pool has a lifeguard, children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times
  • Bathing suits are required and swim diapers are mandatory for all toddlers
  • Chairs are provided for guests who are included in the reservation but not swimming in the pool
  • Sanitize hands upon entry and exit

 

Pool Social Pods

Relax poolside in your own in socially-distanced pod by the pool! Reserve one of seven pods for your group of up to 6 persons.

RESERVATIONS: not required, first come, first served

  • HOURS: 11:00 to 17:00, 7 days a week, weather permitting
    • June: 20, 21, 24 to 28
    • July: 4 to 31
    • August: 1 to 23, 29 to 30
    • September: 5, 6 and 7
  • MAXIMUM TIME: 3 hours
  • MAXIMUM PERSONS: 6 per pod
  • Each pod includes 2 sun loungers and 2 chairs with room to spare
  • You must remain within your pod and refrain from adding or removing any furniture made available to you
  • Sanitize hands and all loungers/chairs before and after use

 

Dock

Jump into the lake or hop aboard your canoe via the runway dock at Club de la Pointe. New in 2020, all docks are exclusively reserved for those wishing to access the lake and nautical equipment.

Sorry, no sun bathing on the dock – check out our social pods for lounging.

  • RESERVATIONS: not required as the dock is simply an entry and exit point to the lake
  • HOURS: 8:00 to 20:00, 7 days a week
  • No lifeguard on duty
  • Read the water safety board before accessing the lake
  • Look before you dive and always exercise caution around the water
  • To maintain your social distance, keep right on the dock when approaching the water and keep left when exiting

 

Lakeview Social Pods

Soak up the sun with stunning views of the lake in one of eight socially-distanced deck pods.

  • RESERVATIONS: not required, first come, first served
  • HOURS: 8:00 to 20:00, 7 days a week
  • MAXIMUM TIME: 3 hours
  • MAXIMUM PERSONS: 6 per pod
  • Each deck pod includes 3 loungers with room to spare
  • To lounge, you must remain on your pod and refrain from adding or removing any furniture made available to you
  • Sanitize hands and all loungers before and after use

 

Terrace Pods

Grab your lunch and eat it on the wood terrace next to our activity pavilion. Each bistro set has six chairs with tables placed at least 2 metres apart to ensure proper social distancing.

  • HOURS: 8:00 to 20:00, 7 days a week
  • MAXIMUM TIME: 3 hours
  • MAXIMUM PERSONS: 4 total, respecting group sizes as set by government regulations

Yoga session

Join us for yoga at the gym

  • DATES : December 5, 12, 19 2020 and 26 January 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, 2021

  • MAXIMUM PERSONS: 6 per reservation, respecting group sizes as set by government regulations
  • Equipment loans are not available. Please bring your own mat and towels.

 

Kids’ Club

Send the kids off to their own pavilion to play ping pong and foosball, or to create a work of art at the craft table.

  • HOURS: 8:00 to 20:00, 7 days a week
  • MAXIMUM TIME: 45 minutes
  • MAXIMUM PERSONS: 6 per reservation, respecting group sizes as set by government regulations
  • The kids’ club is not supervised

Gym

Enjoy a workout with perfect views of the lake! Our private gym, located next to the pool, includes weights, an elliptical trainer, a stationary bike and bands to keep you active while on vacation.

  • HOURS: 8:00 to 20:00, 7 days a week
  • MAXIMUM TIME: 45 minutes
  • MAXIMUM PERSONS: 2 per reservation, respecting group sizes as set by government regulations
  • Equipment must not be removed from the gym
  • Appropriate footwear is mandatory
  • A washroom and shower are available inside the gym
  • Sanitize hands and equipment before and after use

 

 

Volleyball

Jump, set, spike! Bring your own ball and team to play lakeside on Club de la Pointe’s full-sized outdoor beach volleyball court.

  • MAXIMUM TIME: 45 minutes

Volleyball Pods

Lounge on your own, socially-distanced pod adjacent to the beach volleyball court. Four socially-distanced pods have been set up on the grass for groups up to 6.

Pétanque (summer only)

Originating from Provence, France, the objective of this 100-year-old game is to throw or roll your pétanque balls towards a target ball. The closest ball to the target wins!

  • MAXIMUM TIME: 45 minutes
  • MAXIMUM PERSONS: 10 total, respecting group sizes as set by government regulations

Fire Pits (summer & winter)

The Club de la Pointe’s outdoor fire pits are nestled in open air among the trees at the west-most part of the pointe. Roast marshmallows while you see an abundance of stars twinkle in the night sky.

Note: the fire pits are not available when they are restricted by the municipality. Respect the signage on site.

  • HOURS: 17:00 to 20:00, 7 days a week
  • MAXIMUM TIME: 60 minutes
  • MAXIMUM PERSONS: groups of 6, respecting group sizes as set by government regulations

Ice Rink

The rink is open from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., 7 days a week during curfew.

Regular hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

It is important to respect the signs indicating whether the rink is closed or open depending on the weather and ice conditions.

In the winter, the Club de la Pointe staff transform the beach volleyball court into an ice skating rink! Bring your gear (and hot chocolate) and skate in full view of the snowcapped mountains.

New this year: the ice rink will have a beautiful mood lighting in the evening.

End your evening with roast marshmallows while you see an abundance of stars twinkle in the night sky by the outdoor fire pit.

 

Hiking and snowshoeing Trails

Evening snowshoe tour: Dates to be confirmed

We will offer a guided family snowshoe tour over a distance of 2 km. The tour will take place in the evening with headlamps. We suggest that you have your snowshoes and your headlamp. The guide will share his knowledge of the natural environment of the Laurentians and help you get comfortable with your equipment.

The first tour will take place on December 19, 2020.

Minimum 2 participants. Minimum age: 8 years old. Departure is at 19 h. Place of departure: the reception chalet at Club de la pointe located near the swimming pool.

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED – PLACES LIMITED

Before going on a hike, make sure you have good shoes and that you are dressed appropriately. Don’t leave anything behind; you will find garbage cans and recycling bins at le Club de la pointe. Campfires on the trail are prohibited

In case of bad weather, the activity will be postponed to a later date.

The Grande Boucle Trail runs right through Lac-Supérieur, which means you can access hundreds of kilometres of mapped trails, including UQAM’s Inter-Centre trails and the Mont-Tremblant National Parc network, directly from the North side of the mountain at Fraternité-sur-Lac.
